July 24-Nature Walk at the Land


Join Markus Eymann for interesting and informative walks on the land.  Learn about common plants, animals, and geological features on the land, and their role in the ecosystem.

Meet up Saturday 1pm at the Office/Store.  Walks will be tailored to the fitness level and interest of the participants.  We may go for short walks staying in the valley there are many interesting things in close proximity.  We may go for longer hikes up the side of the valley and through ravines.


Participants will be asked for a $5 fee, children under 16 are free, but should be accompanied by an adult.

North Country Acoustic Music Camp

Want to go deeper with music? Want to take your technique, songwriting or stagecraft to the next level? Enjoy camping, hanging out and jamming with like-minded folks? If that sounds like your thing, come on out to the first-ever North Country Acoustic Music Camp, July 29-Aug 1! Rustic riverside camping from Wednesday July 28 through Monday August 2 is included in the price. We’ll have daily classes (Thursday through Saturday) on the instrument of your choice with our illustrious instructors, afternoon master classes on a variety of topics (rhythm, stage performance, music theory fundamentals, and more), instructor performances and student concerts in the evenings, and a sweet all-day hootenanny to close it out on Sunday. Casual, covid-safe and affordable at $300 suggested including camping, coffee, tea and snacks. Our instructors are Bill Bourne (advanced guitar), Joe Nolan (beginner/intermediate guitar), Dana Wylie (harmony singing), Shari Rae (bass), Bramwell Park (banjo), Dan Barton (ukulele) and Scott Cook (songwriting). July 31-Wild Food and Medicine Plant Walk

Walk with Toniese Gamblin Fontaine 11:00-12pm, July 10th.  Meet at the store.  Free for all.  Come walk and learn about some of the wild edible plants and medicines of the Boreal Forest.  Bring water and appropriate footwear.  The route will be easy and accessible but prepare for a decent walk.
